Bangladeshi teams in ‘NQM 6’

The semi-final round of popular quiz show “Nobel Quiz Mania 6-Asian Level” catering to the youth of Asia hit the television screen on April 5. A production of Accretive Media, superstar of the Nepali film Industry Rajesh Hamal is the host/quiz master and Hari Pokhrel is the producer/director of the show. The show will be telecast every Thursday at 8:45pm (Bangladesh Standard Time) in the most-watched channel of Nepal, Kantipur HD TV. The show is also available for live streaming at www.kantipurtv.com/live. With the repeats on Friday 8:45am & 2:45pm and Saturday 12:15pm, Quiz Mania can be accessed through the official YouTube channel of Quiz Mania https://www.youtube.com/quizmanianepal as well.
Amidst the set of events organized from January 6 to January 13 at Kathmandu, 19 teams from 10 different Asian countries, including Nepal, Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Turkey, Hong Kong and the Philippines took part in the final rounds of “Nobel Quiz Mania 6-Asian Level.” The participants were all from schools and colleges, and the students had a chance to visit tourist destinations of Nepal including the famous hub Pokhara. From Bangladesh, two winning teams consisting of two members were selected from the audition held at Government Science College, Dhaka on December 18, 2017. The participants are representing their country and institution at the same time on an international platform.
The winners of Bangladesh Audition are Redwan Uddin Ahmed and Md. Adnan-Ul-Islam from Notre Dame College and Rashad Karim and Md. Nayeem Uddin from Dhaka College. Country Coordinator Sheikh Surfuddin Ali Reza Chowdhury and Representative Jubayer Hasan led the teams from Bangladesh in Nepal.
